Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MYRA Platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. MYRA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Platform Description

MYRA is a coaching marketplace that connects individuals seeking personal growth ("Seekers") with empathetic listeners and coaches ("Listeners") through real-time voice sessions. Sessions are billed on a per-minute basis. MYRA facilitates the connection but is not a party to the coaching relationship between Seekers and Listeners.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Platform. You may register using Google Sign-In or email/password. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. MYRA is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirements

Users under 18 years of age must have verifiable parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. Minors must provide emergency contact information and are subject to additional safeguards as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

4. Listener Terms

4.1 Application & Approval

Listeners must complete an application process including qualification verification, scenario-based assessments, and identity verification. MYRA reserves the right to approve, reject, or revoke Listener status at any time.

4.2 Conduct Standards

  • Listeners must maintain professional conduct during all sessions.
  • Listeners must not provide medical, legal, or financial advice unless appropriately qualified.
  • Listeners must report safety concerns (suicidal ideation, self-harm) to MYRA immediately.
  • Listeners must not solicit Seekers for off-platform communication or payments.

4.3 Compensation

Listeners earn per-minute during active sessions. MYRA retains a platform commission (displayed during onboarding). Earnings are credited to the Listener's platform balance after each session. Payout schedules and methods are detailed in the Listener Dashboard.

5. Payments & Billing

5.1 Wallet System

Seekers prepay by adding funds to their MYRA wallet via Razorpay (UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking). Wallet balances are non-transferable between users.

5.2 Session Billing

Sessions are billed per minute at the Listener's published rate. Billing begins when the Listener joins the call and ends when either party disconnects. The final cost is rounded up to the nearest whole unit of currency.

5.3 Welcome Bonus

New Seekers may receive a welcome bonus credit. Welcome bonus credits are applied first during session billing. Welcome bonus credits are non-refundable and may expire as determined by MYRA.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds for wallet top-ups are handled on a case-by-case basis. Technical issues resulting in failed connections may qualify for automatic credit. Contact support for refund requests.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to solicit illegal activities.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or use foul language toward any user.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
  • Attempt to manipulate session billing, wallet balances, or payment systems.
  • Record sessions without explicit consent of all participants.
  • Share confidential session content with third parties.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools on the Platform.
  • Circumvent security measures or attempt unauthorized access.

7. Safety & Dispute Resolution

MYRA takes safety seriously. Users can report concerns through the dispute system. Reports are categorized by severity and reviewed by our safety team. Actions taken may include warnings, session credits, account suspension, or permanent bans.

In cases involving self-harm, suicidal ideation, or imminent danger, MYRA may contact emergency services and/or the user's listed emergency contact without prior consent.

8. Disclaimers

Important Notice

MYRA is not a substitute for professional mental health services, therapy, or emergency care. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a mental health helpline immediately.

  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • MYRA does not guarantee the qualifications, advice, or conduct of any Listener.
  • MYRA is not liable for the outcomes of any coaching session.
  • Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code of the MYRA Platform are owned by MYRA or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they create (reviews, profiles) but grant MYRA a non-exclusive license to display such content on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYRA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to MYRA in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. MYRA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Wallet balances at termination are handled per our refund policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
